I recently tried ripping and distressing my jeans. I just used an old pair of jeans and an x-acto knife. I started out by trying to fray the denim. It took a while since I was trying to go for a more frayed look and since I was still experimenting... Unfortunately it didn't really work out... and now I just have some messy holes in my jeans. It's apparent that I'm going to need to work on this skill. Hopefully, one day in the near future I will master it! But for now, I'm just going to have to deal with some messy holes in my jeans.

No, that's so cool! How long did it take you to do that? I agree that the holes are a little big, but the jeans look like they came like that. Post more pictures!
I have a friend who has a friend who cut their jeans with an Xacto knife in my friend's room! But now my friend's room smells like a textile mill and her friend kept saying, "Now I know how those 'mill girls' felt!"
